The Autumn Term programme of digital skills training continues with courses on building websites with WordPress, designing effective infographics, two levels of Photoshop training, expert-level Office courses and programming and technical training courses.

All our courses lead to digital certifications: evidence of advanced digital capabilities that employers and peers can readily see through LinkedIn and social media.

Advanced Microsoft Office Specialist training and certification

Advanced Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) training courses lead to expert-level Microsoft qualifications for Excel, Word and Access.

Learn how to create and manage databases with MOS Access Expert, create professional documents with MOS Word Expert and analyse and present data with MOS Excel Expert.

Not completed the Specialist level Office courses yet? Enrolment through Anytime Induction is still available but only until this Friday 21st October.

Information Technology Specialist – technical training and qualifications

The Information Technology Specialist courses and qualifications develop technical skills in a range of topics, including programming with Javascript, Python or Java; database theory and practice; app development; software development; security and networking.

Thinking Like a Programmer complements the Information Technology Specialist courses. The series explores programming concepts such as conditional statements and loops through worked examples and exercises.

Daily Digital micro-webinars

At the other end of the scale from our full courses are the Daily Digital micro-webinars: 15-minute sessions that demonstrate a tool or technique with time for questions and elaboration. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the term:

Our Microsoft Office Specialist and web design courses include Key Concept sessions that explore some of the more interesting and useful tools and techniques through live training sessions. These sessions are open to anyone, regardless of whether you are enrolled on the course. The sessions for the remainder of the term are:

Mae rhaglen Tymor yr Hydref o hyfforddiant sgiliau digidol yn parhau gyda chyrsiau ar greu gwefannau gyda WordPress, dylunio ffeithluniau effeithiol, dau lefel o hyfforddiant Photoshop, cyrsiau Office lefel arbenigwr a chyrsiau hyfforddiant rhaglennu a thechnegol.
