Adding Users To Safe Senders

If you receive e-mail regularly from external contacts, it is good practice to use the safe senders list. This will also help remove the e-mail warning banner from your messages. Please only add users you trust to this list. This guide will assist you in adding users to a safe senders list. This will stop e-mails from the specified address being marked as spam or getting sent to your junk e-mail.

  1. On the Ribbon, from the Home tab, in the Delete group, select Junk.

  3. From the Junk drop-down list, select Junk e-mail Options.

  5. Select the Safe Senders tab and click Add.

  6. In the Add address or domain dialog box, type an e-mail address or domain. Click OK.

  8. In the Junk e-mail Options dialog box, click Apply to save your changes.

    E-mails from this sender will now be prevented from automatically going to your Junk e-mail folder and the e-mail warning banner will be removed.
