Searching OneNote
OneNote can help you find notes no matter where they are.
Search for notes
1. Select the magnifying glass or press Ctrl + F.
2. Type a search word or phrase.
OneNote highlights search words in typed text, handwritten notes, and even words shown in pictures.
Narrow the search
1. Select the search drop-down button.
2. Select an option.
3. Select one of the results.
Close the search results
Select the X to close the search results.
