MiTel MiVoice Connect
First Time Use
Double click on the MiTEL icon to open the software
The following screen will appear:
1) Click
Show advanced
2) Tick
Use Windows Credentials
3) Type
telman01 in server box, if not already populated
4) Tick
Remember me
5) Click
Log In
This screen should not appear again.
Headset Users
To have the client remember to use the softphone option
Click your name
Click the settings cog (far right)
Click Softphone from the menu on left
Check box that says 'On start-up assign me to my softphone'
Then when the client is opened it will remember to use the softphone option, and enable you to take calls via a headset.
Setting MiTEL to start automatically when you log in
MiTEL can be run by clicking on the icon on your desktop. By default it is set to not start when your machine logs in. If you want it to start automatically when you log in
1. Click on your profile
2. Click on the settings cog
3. Click on the tick box to start automatically.
Outlook Error
Load
Outlook. An error relating to ShoreTel may appear. If it does, click Close. This will remove redundant Add-ins and the error will not appear again.
