​This course is recommended for all Cardiff Met staff.  (Not available to students)

The course is free to Cardiff Met staff, but places are limited.


The course was very informative and great to work through examples to reinforce the learning.

Course Structure

​The course lasts about 3 hours and incorporates a 15 minute break approximately halfway through. The session is very hands-on with a series of practice tasks that are to be completed.

Specific Learning Outcomes

​By the end of the session trainees should be able to:

  • Identify how OneDrive for Business should be used at Cardiff Met.
  • Recognise the benefits of using OneDrive to store documents.
  • Search OneDrive for Business efficiently.
  • Use OneDrive for Business to access, store and manage personal documents from anywhere.
  • Recognise when sharing through OneDrive for Business is appropriate and share documents through OneDrive.
  • Make use of document library features, such as real-time collaboration, version history and recycle bins to enhance the way documents are managed.
