The course is comprised of two mandatory training sessions, that are both 1-hour long and an additional 2-3 hours of learning in the form a practical project assessment.
The first session
introduces some of the design principles required to create effective infographics. The Adobe Spark software and the infographics templates it offers are explored.
The second session examines some more design principles required to create effective infographics. We then look at the ways in which Adobe Spark templates can be customised to depict
your data and make the design distinct.
The final component of the course is a practical project in which you will design and create an effective infographic.

Teaching sessions: 2 hours
Practical project assessment: 2 - 3 hours
For a total of between 4 - 5 hours.

They are able to apply those principles to design infographics that clearly and unambiguously present ideas and data. They understand the purpose behind infographics and are able to create informational or promotional graphics. They are able to use software such as Adobe Spark or Illustrator to create their infographics.
