A series of webinars, based on the
Collaborating with Teams and Office 365 course, are scheduled for summer 2020 that will explain how to fully utilise Teams, with a focus on remote working.

Teams to connect across the entire university.
Find out how to collaborate with your
inner loop of colleagues and students through Teams and how to discuss and share news, issues, ideas and events with your
outer loop through Yammer.
You will hear examples of how Yammer digital communities have been used to facilitate effective communication and idea-exchange and how Yammer's unique feature - the

any member of staff or student can use to communicate across the university
An Introduction to Teams – introduces Teams and its core functions. You will learn the essentials needed to communicate through Teams and how to use Teams meetings as a participant.
Teams for Remote Working – further explores how to use Teams to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and students when working away from campus. An emphasis is placed on working with files through Teams and SharePoint Online.
Prerequisite: Ideally you will have completed the
Introduction to Teams session before attending.
Teams for Remote Teaching – focuses on using Teams meetings to deliver synchronous online learning, enabling you to teach from anywhere.

Each webinar is scheduled to last about 1 hour, with additional time available after the webinar for questions.
The webinars will be held through a Microsoft Teams meeting. A link (URL) to the meeting and joining instructions will be sent after booking on to the webinar.
Both staff and students are welcome to join any webinar.
